Speakers Revealed for Catalogue Exchange New Year Detox

The Catalogue Exchange has announced its exciting line-up of speakers who will be taking part in its popular New Year Detox event on Thursday 4th February 2010.

The day takes place at Twickenham Rugby Club and features trading reviews of 2009 and expert advice for the year ahead. It will be hosted by CatEx Advisory Board members Dara O'Malley and Matthew Pepper.

Those who have confirmed they will be taking part are:

* Lara Bonney - Abacus: Lara will be reviewing the findings of the Abacus Pre-Christmas Trends report, research that offers the clearest view on the success of direct mail and provides an insight into consumer spending patterns in the lead up to Christmas.

* Chloe Thomas - Indium Web Management: Chloe will be discussing the Online Benchmarks Reports produced by CatEx and Indium, which provide members with a series of online statistics to help them measure their email and web success. She’ll run through the results so far and look at the project’s future potential.

* Heather Gorringe - Wiggly Wigglers: Social networking guru Heather will be leading a session on how businesses can connect directly with the consumer, using tools such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs and podcasts.

* Catherine Campbell - Royal Mail: In a session titled ‘Christmas: All Wrapped Up’, Catherine will be assessing the recent festive trading season, across the industry.
