Rapid growth leads Post-Switch.com to consolidate Board as its eyes Europe

Post-Switch.com today announced the appointment of Lesley Thornton to the role of Operations Director. The move is part of a general re-structuring as the company keeps pace with rapid growth. Lesley has been a key member of the Post-Switch.com team since the company was founded in 2006 by Jonathan DeCarteret.

Lesley graduated from Edinburgh University with a 2i MA Hons Degree in Business Studies. The strategic promotion gives Lesley the overall responsibility for production, including negotiating commercial arrangements, vetting operational hubs, responsibility for the production team, keeping abreast of regulatory developments in addition to acting as spokeswoman for the company.

David Sibthorpe, previously the head of multi billion pound investment fund Chestertons continues his tenure as Chairman of the Board. He is supported by the appointment of Robert Pett who joins the board as Financial Director.

The company manages the postage portfolio for many of the UK’s Top 100 biggest mailers. Their production team work closely with in-house consultants, analysts and rate negotiators. During the Royal Mail strike, Post-Switch.com were key commentators to national and trade press, along with all major national and international broadcasters.
