Catalogue Exchange/ECMOD Supplier of the Year Awards Shortlist Announced

Tuesday, 15 September 2009

Fourteen specialist UK supplier businesses have reached the shortlist for the prestigious Catalogue Exchange/ECMOD Supplier of the Year Awards. The winners will be announced on October 7th.

These awards, which attract hundreds of nominations, are designed to recognise the outstanding contribution supplier organisations make to the catalogue and online retail sector.

For some of the categories, client–side companies were invited to nominate those suppliers who they felt had assisted their businesses the most over the past twelve months. The winners will be those who receive the most votes.

This year new categories were also added, to give suppliers the opportunity to put themselves forward. These entries will be judged by a panel drawn from the advisory board of trade body The Catalogue Exchange.

The shortlisted businesses are Abacus Direct, Citipost, EC2i, Experian, Garnett Dickinson, Go Direct, LaPoste, Maginus, Mohn Media, OnePost, Pindar, TA Design, WK360 and Yudu Media.

The celebration is held as part of the annual ECMOD event, which takes place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre on October 7th and 8th 2009. It has become Europe’s leading conference and exhibition for catalogue, online and multi-channel sellers. This year, it’s joining forces with The Catalogue Exchange to re-launch the awards.

Jane Revell-Higgins, event founder and managing director of Synergy Partnership Ltd, which organises ECMOD, said: “I don’t think we should ever downplay the advantages that working with the support of great suppliers brings to sector businesses. There are some truly remarkable organisations out there and these awards deliver the perfect opportunity to acknowledge them.”

Winners will be presented with their trophies at a special gala dinner which will be held at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington, London, on October 7th. Tickets for the event can be booked by calling 01271 866112.
