Jme Group Ltd, a new trading arm of the renowned UK chef Jamie Oliver, has appointed Prism DM to engineer and build a transactional extension to the www.jamieoliver.com web site to support the launch of a new range of exclusive lifestyle products.
Prism DM will also provide integrated Customer Service, Warehousing and Order Fulfilment from their premises in Farnborough.
John Jackson, CEO of Jme Group Ltd said "Our team conducted an exhaustive review of potential supplier partners and we were pleased to find that Prism DM could deliver virtually all the services at the high standards we were looking for. They have demonstrated flexibility and commitment during the implementation that makes us confident we have found the right partner to help us take the Jamie Oliver ethos forward into this exciting new business area".
The Jme site extension launched with a modest range of products, the majority of which are sourced from suppliers known to Jamie Oliver and who share his passion for excellence in materials and design.
The transactional site has been designed by London Web agencies Flow and Splendid, who provided Prism DM with the templates and design assets needed to build the site based on Prism DM components.
Monisha Saldanha, Head of E-Commerce at the Jme Group said "We wanted the best in design and build and decided that was best achieved using specialists in each area. Prism DM's capability of providing great site functionality and powerful content management, coupled with natural integration to the rest of their systems and services were convincing factors in our decision".
Mike Thom, Managing Director of Prism DM said "We are delighted to have been chosen by such an experienced team to support the JME Group at the beginning of further expansion to the Jamie Oliver business, and grateful for another opportunity to demonstrate that we provide a special service for a special brand".
