The Catalogue Exchange is a not-for-profit trade group established with the specific aim of supporting businesses in all areas of the catalogue and online retail community. CatEx primarily exists to facilitate vital networking between its members by bringing together some of the most knowledgeable and passionate individuals in the industry.
The Catalogue Exchange was established in 2002 by a group of leading cataloguers who recognised the need for more specialised tailored advice for the catalogue and mail order industry. Working together as a co-operative, our members share knowledge, ensuring they stay ahead of their competitors, operate within the industry's best practises, maximise their business opportunities and remain on top of any developments within the industry.
Client Membership - We welcome applications from retailers who sell goods via a transactional website or traditional paper catalogue, single brand home shopping businesses through to multi-brand speciality catalogue houses. We also welcome UK subsidiaries of international home shopping groups and B2B operations through to off-the-page mail order businesses. No matter what products or channels are majored in, new entrants to the field or experienced retailers, there is no question there is a lot we can do to help each other. Client membership starts from £245+vat per year for companies with sales under £1 million per annum, and £495+vat per year for those companies with sales fo more than £1 million.
Supplier Membership - Any business which provides a support service to the catalogue industry can apply for membership - from list management brokers, financial services and postal carriers to creative studios, printers, marketing and smaller bespoke consultancies. Membership will aid you in reaching your potential business partners by improving your visibility to the marketplace. Also, you will be seen as supporting their trade association. Supplier membership starts from £495+vat per year for Sole Traders (ie: independent consultants) and £695+vat per year for all other suppliers. We also have a range of three high profile sponsorship packages available.
Meetings, Forums and Networking: Through our online forums, members' conferences, meetings, social events and regular e-newsletter bulletins, the Catalogue Exchange can provide you with constant opportunities to network with your colleagues, peers, suppliers and clients. Bringing our members together enables the opportunity to debate and learn from the experience of others on many of the industry's issues.
